Leaderboard rankings are free to view and free to appear on. So is a public profile, so is bulk entry of a whole season of marks, and so is every converter and standards table on the site. A paid plan buys more upload room and better analysis of your own progress; it does not buy rank, and it does not buy visibility to coaches. A site that sells rank is selling something it should be measuring.
Video is the only thing here with a real unit cost: storage and bandwidth scale with every clip, at source quality, for as long as the profile exists. Marks cost nothing to store, so they are unlimited on every plan, which is why an athlete on the free tier can still put a complete season on their profile and rank on every board they qualify for.
Recruiter accounts are verified against a college domain before they can message anyone, and messaging an athlete is subject to the NCAA contact rules for the athlete's graduating class, which the site enforces rather than leaving to the coach to remember.
