Every athlete here is listed with the marks they have actually posted, and every mark carries the conditions it was set in: the event, the date, the meet, the wind reading where the event has a wind rule, and whether a time was hand held or fully automatic. A hand-timed 11.4 and a fully automatic 11.4 are not the same run, and a jump with a four meter per second tailwind is not the same jump, so the profile says which it was rather than leaving a coach to guess.
TrackReels ranks every athlete who posts a legal mark, with no paywall on rankings, and most of the 48 event boards have no ranked athlete yet. An ordinary high school mark can therefore hold a real position in its event, class year and state today. That is unusual and it will not last, which is the honest argument for posting early rather than waiting for a season you are happy with.
Recruiters filter by event group, graduating class, state and level, because those are the four things that decide whether an athlete is even a candidate for a program. Those same filters are open to anyone browsing, signed in or not.
